Trinity Tree-House

This custom tree-house is off-grid on a property the client had spent summers on as a child. It is solar-powered and has a composting toilet. many parts are salvaged; windows, stove, tile, exterior trim and some bathroom fixtures. There is a breezeway at the top of the stairs separating the bathroom (on the left) from the living space (on the right). There is a sleeping loft, extra storage is under the benches. Water is trucked in to fill two tanks below the floor. The bottom newel and railing are from a Madrone tree taken from the property. There were many challenges to address with this project!
